What is Tinker Tuesdays?
This school-wide initiative is designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and innovation. Through interactive activities, all students are encouraged to design, build, explore, and problem-solve, developing essential skills for the 21st century.

Each STEM topic is thoughtfully paired with grade-level reading passages and research opportunities, helping students build background knowledge and connect classroom learning to real-world applications.

Apple Totem Poles
Explore balance, structure, and design through a fun and fruity engineering challenge. -
Balloon Towers
Investigate engineering principles and teamwork while building towering creations. -
Mini Golf Course Design
Apply geometry and physics to create imaginative and functional mini golf holes. -
Roller Coaster Challenges
Experiment with motion, force, and energy in thrilling coaster designs. -
Spider Web Engineering
Use string and creativity to design strong, interconnected webs that mimic nature’s architecture. -
Sugar Cube Arch
Discover the principles of tension and compression while constructing stable arches from sugar cubes. -
Steamboat Construction
Learn about buoyancy and propulsion by designing and testing miniature steamboats. -
Eiffel Tower Build
Explore structural engineering and symmetry by recreating one of the world’s most iconic landmarks.
